Lobmeyer in Roding

Very great hotel. Has already been there several times (often for business and then later twice for private purposes because I liked it so much). The owner is really nice and goes out of his way to offer every service, even though he doesn't have to do all that in a 3 star hotel. I particularly like that the owner (s) do not stand still and constantly introduce improvements or modernize rooms or bring them up to date. Incidentally, I was there during the Corona crisis and the hygiene and safety concept was extremely exemplary!

The hotel actually deserves a good rating - with a view to ambience, cleanliness and solid facilities. However, the breakfast has to be criticized in terms of quality and variety. You have to submit a "wish list" the evening before, on which you have a very limited selection of the items listed, e.g. from the bread offer max. 1 selection from the block of four (2 rolls, 2 wholemeal rolls, 1 wholegrain rolls + 1 roll, 2 slices of farmer's bread). The same principle applies to the category "Sweet spreads with only one (!) Selection. No fruit. In addition, you have to enter the exact time at which you want to appear. Earlier appearances are more or less forbidden, with later appearances you sit in front of cold coffee and cold eggs. All of this, of course, with reference to the so-called pandemic, which, however, is not very convincing in view of the local competitor, because according to statements by members of my travel group, this definitely offers a rich breakfast buffet. In my impression, savings are being made here on the corona wave. In my opinion, the prepayment collected at check-in is not a customer-friendly snub for long-standing customers.

Family run, to feel good

A hotel with nice rooms and a very guest-friendly owner. It was a good stay that got even better thanks to Mr. Lobmeyer's willingness to help. The breakfast was of the best quality and was on the table every morning on time. We felt good.

Spot on - we had a suite for the price of a room - if you like chocolate puddings they do a good example - a pity it is 800 miles from home, but would choose to stay here if visiting the area again. It is right in the middle of town with fiddly but available free parking. Nice and friendly young staff - Not much English spoken but every thing went well.

The facility is very centrally located in the village. Accessibility with your own car is very easy. With public transport, however, I cannot necessarily imagine this, as the location is a bit too small for this. Nevertheless, we were greeted very friendly by phone in advance and informed about the parking spaces. The facility has its own parking lot in the rear of Hofberwixh. There is a passage through a back entrance. Which saves us the entrance in the front Bereixh. The rooms are very rustic and long-established. The furniture is good and simple but still in good shape and well cared for. Both the sanitary facilities and the room are clean. I found the room a bit cold at the beginning. But with the central heating system, the temperature is increased quickly. A bit sluggish in my opinion. But it can also be my spoiled attitude towards the temperatures. The walls in the hallways are full of great art prints. Breakfast was very good and varied. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures for this. But I still recommend it from my point of view. Good 5 stars from me 🌟

Very friendly, very nice and clean rooms, good breakfast!

We stayed over the weekend in the Gasthof Lobmeyer with 20 people. The rooms are very nice and bright and very large. The fan in the bathroom was like a jet jet smile ... but otherwise you can only recommend it very much. The food was delicious and the service very friendly and for a joke always to have. So who in the vicinity of what nice cheap nothing like there. Only one more thing ... who has a restless sleep will probably have problems with the belfry next door.

Very good location at the market. The few parking spaces in the narrow yard can be filled quickly, then you have to see where you stay. Room tiny, functional but clean. Bathroom / shower tight. Staff ok, breakfast is ok.

Very pleasant, in a historic setting. Nice terrace with a nice view of the rain. Price to performance are in good ratio.

Nice hotel, room was clean, food was delicious, terrace in front of the hotel, nice staff, breakfast was adequate and delicious with fresh rolls, .... bells to hear, .... we are glad about it .... to recommend !!

We spent one night there, room price just under 90 euros, but this was a comfort double room. Bathroom in contrast to the room a bit small, but clean. We were warmly welcomed and had adequate breakfast. The location is right in the middle, 2 min walk to the rain. Many restaurants within walking distance. The inn is right next to the church, which rings every 15 minutes, did not bother us. If we needed a room again, we would also like to stay there again.

The welcome was nice, the single room was a good size and the bed was nice and comfortable. Nice, too, that there are sockets on the bed. The breakfast was comprehensive enough. There is deduction for the volume from the outside (church bell) and the very bad WLAN.

Nice room and nice breakfast

We had a two bed room. The beds were just about 80 cm wide, it was too warm in the room and I didn't like the pillow. Wifi didn't work properly in our room. Breakfast was OK, but nothing special. Buffet with ham, leberkäse, cheese and other stuff. Hard boiled eggs were served also. Orange and multivitamin juice was on a buffet. Coffee as well.

The restaurant is recommended. The room in the attic was quite hot and with the window open the noise could be heard from outside. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom should be renewed, v.a. the toilet seat.

I think the hotel Gasthof very good. Ample parking in the courtyard. The staff is friendly and competent. The room was big and clean, the mattresses not too soft. The Wi-Fi is good, so that the small office stuff goes off quickly after work. I can not comment on the food since I was there on a Monday. On this day the kitchen stays cold because of the rest day. The breakfast was plentiful and provided with regional delicacies. In short, a place to come back to.

Cozy hotel right in the center. Clean and well-kept rooms. Breakfast plentiful and good selection. Nice and courteous staff. The hotel can be recommended.

Nice pension, large and spacious room, comfortable and clean beds. The bathroom instead has some flaws, one on all the cold-air hair dryer is not very pleasant if you are in winter. Unfortunately the restaurant is still closed, therefore not assessable.
